Advisory Council

The Inner Wings team has formed an Advisory Council to work with us to increase the impact of our work. The Council, formed in September 2024, brings together leaders from the world of politics, academia and business, all of whom are committed to addressing the diverse issues affecting young children today.

Meet the Advisory Council

Christine Ashton

Christine Ashton is the Chief Information Officer at UKRI, a role she was appointed to in January 2024. She has also been a Non-Executive Director for Royal Bank of Scotland International since September 2020. In 2023 she was voted 36th most influential in UK tech and nominated to the top 50 ‘ones to watch’ list.

Iveta Cabajova

Iveta Cabajova is the Chief Financial and Operations Officer at 1E, where she is responsible for leading the charge towards further growth and profitability. She has over 15 years of experience leading companies in the tech space, including the cloud and observability markets, most notably as Chief Financial and Operations Officer at ITRS group. In addition to leading all financial and general operations at 1E, Iveta is a founding member of SheSaaS, an exclusive female leadership network dedicated to fostering growth, collaboration, and empowerment within the private equity-backed software sector.

Carolyn Dawson

Carolyn Dawson is CEO of Founders Forum Group, a global community and group of businesses supporting entrepreneurs at every stage of their journeys. Founders Forum events are designed to empower today’s entrepreneurs to drive positive change through technology, while fostering collaboration amongst the world’s most inspiring founders, investors, corporate and government leaders. Alongside Founders Forum’s community, Carolyn’s remit includes the broader Founders Forum business network, supporting founders and disruptors with businesses in education, investment, charitable giving and professional services. This includes leading the relaunch of Tech Nation – the UK’s leading growth platform for scaling tech companies and co-founding the Miroma Founders Network.

Baroness Goudie

Baroness Mary Goudie is a senior member of the British House of Lords and a global advocate for the rights of women and children. In the UK she is a founding member of The 30% Club which aims to influence chairman to bring more women onto corporate boards. She is an emeritus of the Board of Directors of Vital Voices Global Partnership. Goudie is a trustee of the El-Hibri Charitable Foundation, based in the US, whose aims are to foster interfaith dialogue to establish solutions to global challenges affecting mankind. She is a member of the UK Board of Directors for the Center for Talent Innovation, a nonprofit think tank that focuses on challenges and issues pertaining to the workplace. Goudie is an ambassador for ICRW, and a board member the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace, and Security. She is also a member of the board for the Center of Women, Peace and Security at the LSE.

Graeme Lawrie MBE

Graeme Lawrie is Partnerships Director at ACS International Schools. He is a qualified teacher and has been teaching for 22 years specialising in Technology, Computing, Electronics and Design. He was awarded an MBE in 2020 for his services to education.
